Electricity from ECO group
In accordance with Article 26 of the Rules for the operation of the Centre for RES/CHP support (Official Gazzette RS no. 30/24) Borzen may sell the electricity from the ECO Group directly on the market or indirectly by transferring the whole ECO group to another Balance Scheme Member’s balancing group or subgroup.
Starting from 2016 the electricity produced within the ECO Group is being sold indirectly by the transfer of the whole ECO Group to another Balance Scheme Member’s balancing group or subgroup.
Auction for the Transfer of the ECO Group for 2026
Borzen, the Slovenian power market operator, acting on behalf of the Centre for RES/CHP Support and in accordance with the Article 26 of the Rules on the operation of Centre for RES/CHP Support (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/24) hereby issues the following Rules for the Transfer of the ECO Group – Centre for RES/CHP Support for 2026 (in Slovenian).
The auction for the Transfer of the ECO Group for 2026 shall be carried out on Wednesday, 15. 10. 2025, and will be conducted through the BSP trading platform for long-term trading.
The production units included in the Eco Group are expected to generate 158,7 GWh of electricity in the year 2026.
Important Dates
- Deadline for submitting a complete auction application: Thursday, October 9, 2025, by 4:00 PM.
- Access testing and presentation of the BSP long-term trading platform: Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
- Deadline for submitting questions: Tuesday, October 14, 2025, by 4:00 PM.
- Auction date: Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
